About a month ago I came across the colored bubbles that I had seen advertised on tv. They were only $2 so I told the girls all agree on a color. In typical female fashion they couldn’t all agree on one color, so I picked for them. Can you guess what color I picked? Insert the music from Jeopardy here……………………………………………………………
I picked PURPLE!!!!
For a variety of reasons we couldn’t go outside and play with them until last week. Uh yeah…. That didn’t go so well.
That is about as good as it gets folks. Love the spill proof bottle but that’s it. Now don’t get me wrong the girls DID have fun playing with them. After all they ARE bubbles, sorta.
Sure it IS pretty. But that was about the best bubble that was done. They just didn’t have the flowing ability that the normal bubbles have.
Take a peek at Sarah who normally has no issues with blowing bubbles. It’s just heavy liquid and it’s all over her! Face, clothes, everywhere but in bubble format. I will say everything did wash out and in the first wash so at least that was good.
My view on the newest color bubbles, don’t waste your money. Buy a big thing of old fashioned plain bubbles and some neat wands and go have fun with colorless bubbles.
Our regular bubbles didn’t disappoint us. The above was from the same time.
