In the Dead of the Night

As I start to write this blog it’s 7:45am. I’ve been up since midnight. Sighs… I fell asleep a little after 9 last night while watching Psychic Kids. My back was hurting so bad it’s unreal.  It felt like my back was breaking in half.

While I was laying in bed watching tv in the middle of the night Sarah wakes up.  She had gone to sleep about 8:30. She woke up at 1 this morning and is still awake. I will give her this, she laid in bed and stayed quiet until about 4 this morning. Then she sat up and started playing in bed. At 4:30 I figured screw it. I have to be up in an hour to get the girls up for school I might as well stop trying to sleep and let Sarah get up.

Sarah was so happy to get up. She was smiling from ear to ear. She decided that she wanted to sit at the table and color so I gave her a piece of paper and a marker.

Here she is at 5 in the morning all chipper and happy.

After I got the girls up at 5:30 Sarah got her toy piano out and would play a few notes then scribble on her paper. If I hadn’t been busy trying to get Sophie to actual to something other then sit on the couch in a zombie state I would have take a video.

Speaking of Sophie. When she got up and Sarah saw her hair she couldn't stop giggling. So I, of course took a pic.

So the girls are now at school and Sarah is winding down.  I’ve threatened Justin that if he makes any noise or tries to wake us up once we get to sleep he will die a slow and painful death.

I’m off to put Sarah back to bed and I’m going to attempt to get some sleep myself. With the pain in my back I’m not sure how easy it will be but I’m exhausted so hoping that will help some. So I’m gonna sign off for now. :)
